Kristin ARterbury, LPC
Kristin is passionate about helping children and adults feel understood, supported, and connected. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth and healing. With her warm, relational approach, Kristin creates a safe, welcoming space where clients can feel heard, build on their strengths, and work toward positive change at their own pace.
Kristin brings a wealth of experience from her many years working in public education, at Region 12, and at the Waco Advocacy Center. These experiences have shaped her understanding of the unique challenges individuals and families face and strengthened her commitment to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care.
Kristin has training in EMDR, somatic approaches, Internal Family Systems, childhood attachment dynamics and approaches, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She draws on these approaches to help clients process difficult experiences, better understand their emotions, and develop tools for healing and resilience.
Outside of her work, Kristin enjoys life with her husband, two sons, two grandsons, and church family. She values the importance of connection, family, and communityβvalues that are reflected in the care she provides to every client.
At Mind Well Counseling, Kristin is excited to walk alongside children and adults as they navigate life's challenges, discover their strengths, and move toward greater well-being.
